Jonathan Wilkins To Speak At Warsaw Schools On Thursday

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools, in conjunction with its recently adopted strategic plan, will host its second keynote for the 2021 Speaker Series on April 15.
WCS is excited to welcome Jonathan Wilkins to support the goals of the strategic plan’s four pillars: empathy, inclusivity, adaptability and experience.
Wilkins, a former chaplain for the Chicago Bears, is an emerging voice and cultural champion for team building, accountability and leadership development. He possesses a unique gift to inspire corporate influences toward personal responsibility and transformation.
Wilkins currently serves as manager of leadership and learning development at CBRE, where he most recently led the creation and delivery of the Global Workplace Solutions Leadership Series, a premier multifaceted learning program for 5,000 managers. He is currently managing the development and launch of a new Global Learning Development program for 8,000 project management professionals. Prior to CBRE, Wilkins served as facilitator within the Leadership and Development Department at American Airlines, where he was the lead facilitator to the company-wide on-boarding course entitled “Take-Off.” He developed Courageous Conversations, which is a required course for all Level 5 managers.
Wilkins graduated from Morehouse College and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and Master of Divinity from the Harvard Divinity School, becoming the only student to do so in the class of 2009. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Wilkins is married to Paris H. Wilkins (master personal trainer and indoor spin cyclist. Together they have three children: Yuri Crenshaw, 16; Jonathan Wilkins Jr., 11; and Princeton Wilkins, 1 1/2.
Warsaw Community Schools staff are excited to welcome Jonathan Wilkins, whose message will be delivered to a student audience in the PAC and streamed to secondary classrooms. Wilkins will also lead discussions and answer questions. After, Wilkins will host a workshop to engage students, faculty and community around the goals of the strategic plan. Wilkins will also be the keynote speaker for Tri Kappa’s Senior Honor Reception at 7 p.m. April 15.
