Auschwitz Program At WCPL
WARSAW — Charles Moman, a retired teacher from Seymour, traveled to Poland to visit Auschwitz Concentration and Death Camp twice in 2015, including the 70th Commemoration of the Liberation of Auschwitz in January. Charles traveled to Poland with groups led by Eva Kor, an Auschwitz and Dr. Mengele twin experimentation survivor. Eva Kor has a Holocaust museum in Terre Haute called CANDLES.
In this program Moman will share photos of his two Auschwitz trips, along with basic information about the Holocaust. The program will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16 at Warsaw Community Public Library This program will not show any graphic images from the WWII era.
