Why I’m voting for Tracy Cutler-Wilson!
Dear Editor,
Tyler Huffer was elected in an actual election year to Plain Township Trustee office with his term starting, Jan.1, 2019 for four years, he ran a dirty campaign against Jerry Kammerer.
In 2022, he ran for “re-election” and lost to Craig Charlton the current Plain Township Trustee. I have worked with Craig at Plain Township since he was elected to help straighten out a township mess. The township software program was a mess from Tyler, in all four years the bank statements were not balanced!
January 2023, Craig and myself had to clear out checks or find out why they weren’t cashed from vendors from the accounting for 2016-2022. Everything has been corrected and all bank statements since January 2023 are balanced properly! Tyler had monthly and annual reports not filed in Gateway of IN correctly, on time or not at all since January 2019 to December 2022.
They are all complete, on time since January 2023 with Craig as trustee. He is also missing other forms not filled out for the township, one is Form 17 a yearly form for salaries of township employees set by the township board.
Are you getting the picture of his ability as an elected official? If you can’t operate one elected office, what makes you think he can run another elected office?
He took an oath of office to perform the duties of township trustee, he took the salary but didn’t do the job to the highest standard!
Tyler also made mistakes with burials in the Leesburg Cemetery, not just one but several and different mistakes. To honor the deceased I will not mention names, but to be exhumed and reburied is mortifying for the family after being buried in the wrong place. Family being treated like his mistake was nothing, is disgraceful.
Tyler has been thrown out of a mobile home park management office due to his behavior in the office over township assistance per the manager.
State Board of Accounts perform audits every 4-6 years. Plain Township has been under audit since last September, we are still waiting for an exit conference for 2019-to current. They said a month ago it was complete but for some reason the exit conference seems to be being held up. I’ve never seen anything like this! Several emails have been sent inquiring but nothing to date! I wonder why?
This is personal for me as this is a job I’m passionate about and it makes me upset when trustees aren’t doing their elected job for the taxpayers!
Tracy Cutler-Wilson is experienced and qualified to be the county coroner and she will do the job for the taxpayers!

Prairie Township Trustee since 1981
