Tecomet Culture Team Donates To Animal Welfare League
News Release
WARSAW — Tecomet employees, led by their Culture Committee team, held a “Stuff the Bus” with pet food event for the Animal Welfare League, donating over $1,000 in supplies and money. The event was promoted in advance to Tecomet employees and the community.
“As members of the Culture Committee team, we work together to create and promote fun company-oriented events intended to give back in the local Warsaw community. Helping our local animal friends was one of the friends’ ideas on the list. My Tecomet co-workers really got behind the idea, and we are super excited to do our part and give back. It is a great feeling to help an organization like the Animal Welfare League. We appreciate the great work they provide in our area,” said Tecomet team member, Terri Hubner.
“Our AWL staff is so thankful for the Tecomet pet food donations!” said AWL Executive Director Tonya Blanchard. “The bus was unloaded that day, and the pet food neatly organized on new shelving that we just purchased.”
“Tonya and her amazing staff are so passionate for our abandoned and unwanted shelter pets from Kosciusko County, and they work so hard seven days a week, including holidays and snowstorms,” said AWL Board President John Lantz. “We treasure the support from the Tecomet employees and look forward to when they come for a visit.”
