AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League issued another series of postseason awards announcements on Thursday.

CL Golf Takes Seven NAIA All-American Awards

The Crossroads League had seven student-athletes earn NAIA Golf All-American awards recently, as announced by the NAIA National offices.

The league picked up five honors on the women’s side and two on the men’s side. Taylor’s Nicole Jung highlighted a group of four Trojans to earn All-American honors, and was the CL’s lone First-Team All-American.

The 2020-2021 Golf All-America Teams were chosen by the NAIA Golf Coaches’ Association All-America Committee.

Crossroads League Baseball Picks Up Two All-American Honors

The Crossroads League saw its top baseball award winners collect another prestigious honor recently, as Joe Moran of Taylor and Aaron Saal of Mount Vernon Nazarene were each named NAIA All-Americans.

Moran picked up the Honorable Mention All-American nod after earning CL Pitcher and Newcomer-of-the-Year accolades, while Saal was also named an Honorable Mention All-American following his CL Player-of-the-Year honor.

The 2021 NAIA Baseball All-America Teams were chosen by the NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Association All-America Committee.

CL Earns Trio of Softball NAIA All-American Awards

The Crossroads League added three more NAIA All-Americans recently, placing three student-athletes on the NAIA Softball All-American Teams.

Indiana Wesleyan and Marian accounted for all three honors, with IWU’s Miranda Wehrle and Alyssa Wagner joining MU’s Shelbie Stotts in representing the league on the prestigious list.

The 2021 NAIA Softball All-America Teams were chosen by the NAIA Softball All-America Committee.
