SYRACUSE — Everyone is invited to stop by uptown Syracuse for the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce’s free June Last Friday event: Family Night Out.
All the action will occur from 6-7:30 p.m. June 26 at the corner of Dolan and West Main streets, with parking available in the parking lot along West Pearl Street. There will be a host of activities to enjoy.
Main on Main Improv Troupe will be performing two shows at 6 and 7 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket for some interactive comedy improv.
There will also be Fur & Feather Bible Tails, free popcorn from RE/MAX Partners, games, a Kosciusko Community Hospital booth, a Blue Barn Berry Farm stand, a craft station overseen by Lakeland Youth Center and more.
Attendees are encouraged to visit Uptown Beauty Joint at 706 N. Huntington St. for a family selfie and goodies at its grand opening.
At Last Friday, people can purchase tickets to enter a raffle for a trio of items: an ’11 custom Harley Davidson trike, trailer and ’03 Harley Davidson anniversary special edition Ford F-150 truck. Raffle tickets can also be purchased via credit card by calling (574) 306-4589. If all the tickets sell, the drawing will happen in October at First Friday in Warsaw; otherwise, it will be during the First Friday in April 2021. Proceeds will benefit Joe’s Kids. For information, call Les Reimer at (260) 609-5609.
While attending Last Friday, everyone is asked to practice social distancing standards. Do not attend if you are running a fever, have COVID-19 symptoms or have anyone in your household who has shown symptoms.
