Lego Club
The Nappanee Public Library Lego Club will meet Thursday, Jan. 21. Kids age 5 and up are invited to take part in age-group-appropriate challenges and free building time on the third Thursday of every month during the school year at the library. They meet from 6:30-8 p.m. This month’s building challenge is “Animal Mix-ups.”
No registration is required, and parents are welcome to stay and participate. Children under six must be accompanied by an adult, and all materials will be provided.

Makerbot 3D Printer Training
Nappanee Public Library cardholders with an interest in the maker movement, engineering, drafting, crafting, and other techno-creative endeavors are invited to become certified on the Library’s new Makerbot 3D printer and scanner. The next training session takes place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28.

Twinkie Showdown
Students in sixth grade through high school are invited to take part in a “Jr. Chef Twinkie Showdown” at the next Teen Tuesday program at the Nappanee Public Library. Meet in The Cube, the Library’s Makerspace, from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2. Students will battle against each other to transform their Twinkie snack cake into an on-the-spot culinary creation for judges.

February Storytimes at Nappanee Library
Encourage a love of reading from the start with storytime at the Nappanee Public Library.
Story times for children age 3-5 will be held each Wednesday morning in February, with two sessions to choose from: 9:30-10:15 a.m., or 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. Children will enjoy stories, crafts, songs and games about woodland animals.
Babies through age 2 and their caregivers will meet for “Move & Do” on Thursdays from 10-10:30 a.m. for music and movement, stories and hands-on projects.
