Viva J. Wolfe
Viva J. Wolfe, 76, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 1:14 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, in Grace Village Health Care.
On Dec. 15, 1936, she was born in Warsaw to Howard and Edith (Foltz) LaFollete. Viva was a lifelong resident of Warsaw. She worked for G.T.I. and then Flint Ink, Warsaw, where she retired. She was a member of Warsaw Community Church, where she was active in volunteer activities including working with the poor in Guatemala.
Viva is survived by four children: Michael Douglas LaFollete, Granger, Ind.; Jody Lyn Brown Castillo, Lexington, Va.; Terri Kay Brown Mitchell, Warsaw; and Mark Allen Wolfe, Warsaw; two sisters: Annette Stump, Pierceton, Ind.; and Rose Powers, Arizona; her brother: Robert LaFollette, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and one brother.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Warsaw Community Church with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
