Washington STEM Academy Welcomes Students Back
The Washington STEM Academy invites Washington students and families to take part in several events happening in August.
“Back to School Days” will take place Monday, Aug. 6 from noon to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The office staff and computer lab will be available for those who have not previously registered online and for parents needing additional information for the 2012-13 school year. The office staff, food services and transportation department will also be available to answer questions, accept textbook rental payments and meal payments and provide assistance with the appropriate forms.
The “Welcome to the Washington STEM Academy” event will be held Friday, Aug. 10 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The event will provide an opportunity to meet teachers and faculty of the Academy. The Washington PTO will provide pulled pork sandwiches, salad, cookies and beverages.
The Washington STEM Academy looks forward to an exciting and dynamic school year fulfilling the mission “to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others.”
