Two US 30 Projects Will Force Lane Closures, Delays For Months
Staff Report
WARSAW – A new mix of projects along US 30 and west of Warsaw, is adding to the congestion in the area.
On Monday, March 28, asphalt paving began between Fox Farm Road and Center Street.
The work will continue through the end of June, according to information provided by the contractor, Phend & Brown, and the city of Warsaw.
Single-lane closures will be set up where work is performed each day.
A bridge project along US 30 near Fox Farm Road will also lead to significant delays in traffic, the contractor warned.
That project will begin on April 4 and is expected to continue until mid-July.
Starting April 11, eastbound lanes will be closed between CR 300N and Fox Farm Road. All traffic will be switched to the westbound lanes, with one lane of traffic for each direction.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes due to anticipated traffic delays.
