The Panther wrestlers travelled to LaPorte on Saturday morning to participate in the Slicer Invitational duals. NorthWood swept their four unfamiliar opponents, taking the invitational championship by sweeping Knox, Franklin Central, LaPorte and Merrillville in that order.

The Warsaw wrestling team hosted their annual Tiger Invitational Duals on Saturday. The Tigers posted a 3-1 record for the day with wins against Fort Wayne Wayne, Concord, and New Haven.
Elkhart won the invitational, finishing with a 4-0 record. The Tigers finished in second place.
Warsaw’s team saw significant improvement and had many standout performances. Four Tigers went undefeated:
Aaron Ross (126) had two pins, a forfeit and a decision.
Jose Martinez (132) had two major decisions and two forfeits.
Andrew Ross (138) had a pin, two majors and a decision.
Jacob Linky (170 ) had a pin, two majors and a forfeit.

Wawasee competed in the Tiger Invitational Duals as well on Saturday. The Warriors finished 2-2 at the competition, defeating Concord and Fort Wayne Wayne while falling to New Haven and Elkhart.
