More Free Meals
Women of Today, along with Man Cave Brewery Company, invites the public to be their guest for a free meal starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 22. The meal will be a pork chop, au gratin potatoes and green beans. There will be meals available to the first 200 people. The Man Cave Brewery Company is located at 10201 SR 13, Syracuse, just north of CR 1000N.
The largest meal giveaway, thus far, will be starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at The Channel Marker, 5793 E. Pickwick Road, Syracuse. “The outpouring of support this community has provided is unreal and so heartwarming,” owners of the local restaurant posted on its Facebook page. “We’ve had another group of generous residents call to donated enough funds in partnership with The Channel Marker to provide 600 meals.
The public is invited to come and pick up a meal for themselves, their family and anyone they may know who is in need. The group is asking the community to rally together and ask if homebound friends or family need a meal as well. “We have to stay steadfast in helping each other in need,” the post states.
The menu will include island grilled chicken, smashed red potatoes, salad with dressing, dinner roll and butter.
