Magician Tyler Sherwin To Perform At North Webster Library
NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Community Public Library will host the following events in January:
Believe in the magic of Tyler Sherwin when he performs his magic act at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8. Sponsored by the North Webster Community Public Library, this free public performance will take place in the North Webster Community Center banquet hall. A Pierceton native, Sherwin is a professional magician who has appeared on the television competition “America’s Got Talent” and will be taking his act to Las Vegas following his North Webster performance. Save yourself a trip to Las Vegas and catch his act in North Webster. The library will close early that day at 6 p.m. so everyone can attend.
Dance off those extra holiday pounds when Let’s Move starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, in the Adult Services Department. This free class uses dancing as a form of exercise and will be held every Thursday through June 27. Geared for adults of all ages and fitness levels, it is an informal time of dancing along with dance videos, having fun and getting a good workout. If your treadmill routine is getting boring, jazz up your workout with Let’s Move every Thursday evening.
For a more sedate activity, come to an adult coloring session at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9. Bring your own coloring sheets and supplies and enjoy an informal time of coloring and chatting.
Kids ages five to 12 will have a chance to express their creativity at Lego Club at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in the Youth Services Department. The Legos are provided and parents are encouraged to join in. It is a good way to spend quality time with your child while fostering their ingenuity and problem-solving skills building with Legos.
