Miracle Tree Back Up At Bell Library
MENTONE — The Tippecanoe Valley Miracle Tree is up again at Bell Memorial Public Library. Patrons looking for a good way to help support others in the community this holiday season can stop in to find out how to sponsor some of Valley’s kids this Christmas.
Story Hour
The library invites interested patrons to attend Story Hour every Friday at 10 a.m. During Story Hour, children will listen to a story, sing songs and make a craft.
NaNoWriMo
National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On Nov. 1, participants begin working toward the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel. If you’d like to register to sign up, go to the website https://nanowrimo.org/ and they’ll walk you through it. You don’t have to register to take part, the goal is to have fun and write.
Hoopla
Hoopla is a digital media service that allows patrons to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on their computer, tablet, or phone. With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. Titles cannot be downloaded to computers. Zumba And Yoga
Fitness enthusiasts can come to the library every Wednesday evening for Zumba & Yoga. Zumba begins at 5:30 p.m. and Yoga begins at 6:45 p.m. For more information, please contact Eva Mudd at (574) 253-5593 or [email protected].
Internet Hotspot
The library is circulating an internet hotspot. These devices are about the size of a large cell phone and connect the user to the Internet via cell phone towers. The device will circulate for a week and units can be reserved for more information, contact Stephen Boggs at (574) 353-7234 or via e-mail at [email protected].
