The Friends look forward to sharing cookies at the December meeting at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6. The group will finalize plans for the breakfast and book sale they are hosting for the winter carnival. Another food exchange and recipe sharing is when the Magnolia Cooking group meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12. The group is bringing in its favorite holiday snacks.
Create a holiday ornament craft at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5. Call the library to assure plenty of materials are available. Harry Potter crafts for teens are making a string picture at 5 p.m. Dec. 18. Teens can sign up and choose their favorite book cover from the reprinted editions.
The children’s department is planning something fun on each of the days during Christmas break. Coming to the library helps through the short winter days and long winter nights.
