Don And Betty Fervida Celebrating Wedding Anniversary
NAPPANEE — Don and Betty (Martin) Fervida, Nappanee, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by taking a trip to the Rocky Mountains.
They were married Aug. 12, 1967, at Nappanee Church of the Brethren with William Kidwell officiating.
Betty was an elementary teacher in the Wa-Nee school corporation. Don, a retired farmer, worked at R.R. Donnelly in Warsaw until 1967 and then worked at Martin Hardware for five years. The Fervidas are members of Union Center Church of the Brethren.
Their children are Tami (Scott) Bruner of Milford and Scott (Melanie) Fervida of Nappanee. They also have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
