Karen Cumings Joins North Webster Library Staff
NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Community Public Library has announced the appointment of Karen Cumings as adult services clerk. In her new position, Cumings will assist the adult services director in organizing and implementing adult programming.
Cumings brings to the position many years of experience teaching in public schools, private tutoring, and business administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University. A native of northeast Indiana, she recently relocated here from Westerville, Ohio where she and her family lived for 29 years before retiring to Warsaw/Chapman Lake area.
Her volunteer work includes Friends of the North Webster Community Public Library, North Webster Community Center’s Annual Auction, and North Webster Food Pantry. She also knits items to give to local charities.
“Karen’s superb organizational skills and community outreach makes her a valuable asset to our staff and patrons. We welcome her aboard.” stated library director Helen Leinbach.
