Turkey Creek Township Advisory Board held a brief meeting Monday, Nov. 7. During the meeting, it approved the Turkey Creek Fire Territory’s salary resolution, which remains relatively unchanged from last year’s except for planned raises.
Barbara Griffith pointed out two big expenses in the general funds distribution for the month of October. The first in other supplies was $8,193.45, for mowing and cemetery maintenance — the township oversees six cemeteries. The second expense was $6,000 in recreation, which is for the lifeguards.
Township advisory board members also voted to give Griffith permission to change a date on form four, which had been misdated.
A special advisory board meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Syracuse Town Hall. The next regular board meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, also at town hall.
