Holy Week Gatherings Planned
CLUNETTE — Clunette United Methodist Church has several gatherings during Holy Week and Easter available for attendance.
The Clunette UMC Choir will present its annual Easter cantata titled, “It Is Finished,” at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 20, with refreshments following.
Then at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, kids of all ages are invited for the second annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your own baskets and dress weather appropriate as the egg hunt will be outdoors unless it rains. The Soul Searchers Youth Group will also be meeting that night and children of all ages are invited to stay for a meal, fun games, crafts and activities until 8 p.m.
Easter Sunday, March 27, Clunette UMC will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. The morning begins with a sunrise service of light with Holy Communion at 7:30 a.m. At 8 a.m. is an Easter carry-in breakfast. Following at 9 a.m. is the Easter Worship Service.
