The Symphony of the Lakes and conductor Tom Stirling present an exciting fund raising event known as Pursuit of the Podium at the Home for the Holiday’s Pop’s Concert on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Pursuit of the Podium is a fundraising event benefiting the Symphony of the Lakes education fund.
Four community leaders have been chosen to compete against each other to see who can receive the most donations in their online donation piggy bank. The community leader with the most money in their piggy bank will have the opportunity to conduct the Symphony of the Lakes in one number at the Home for the Holiday’s Pop’s concert.
The four community leaders chosen include Brad Bishop, David Hoffert, Mary Kittrell and Matt Rudkin.
Brad Bishop joined OrthoWorx as executive director in June 2010 bringing with him more than 20 year of orthopedic experience. He has also served on a number of associations and civic boards.
David Hoffert currently serves as the superintendent of schools for the Warsaw Community School District. David has been involved in education all his life and is thrilled to have his current position where he can make a difference in the Warsaw education system.
Mary Kittrell was born, raised and has lived in Kosciusko County her entire life. She is the executive director at the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Finally Matt Rudkin is originally from Warsaw and currently anchors WSBT News as well as WSBT News First with “Weather 101.”
