Garage Sale Supports Haiti Missions
A garage sale to help a mission to Haiti and help people right here in Kosciusko County is being held this holiday weekend in Warsaw. The 4th annual Allowing Christ to Shine’s Garage Sale is set for Monday, May 26.
We have been able to give away hundreds of turkeys for families over thanksgiving, helped our local elementary schools, local foundations and charities, and we have been able to bring incredible christian artists in concert to our town said Clark Shepherd, founder of A.C.T.S.
The garage sale will also help the A.C.T.S. school and orphanage in Haiti. “We have over 300 children that attend our school,” Shepherd said. “The garage sale will help to feed and support these kids and families in need. Haiti is the poorest country in our hemisphere and we are grateful to our community for their support and generosity to help feed the hungry.”
This is Allowing Christ To Shine’s fourth annual garage sale and will again be held in the parking lot of Wildman Business Group on South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. The sale will have plenty of merchandise and many of the items will be sold for freewill donations.
Among the items for sale will be furniture, clothes, appliances, exercise equipment, electric cars and specialty items.
The sale is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, May 26.
