The Milford Public Library will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24-25, for Christmas. Please use the book drops at the south end of the building for returns during this time. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

The library will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Adult Reading Club
The annual Adult Reading Club will begin on Jan. 2 and continue through March 30. This year’s theme is Groundbreaking Reads. Anyone age 18 and older can participate in the club. There are many prizes you could win.

For every title read or listened to, you can enter the weekly drawing. If you read five books that week, you may enter the drawing five times. The more you read, the better your chances to win! Sign-up at the adult desk starting Jan. 2.

Family Movie Day
Mark your calendars, Jan. 2 the library is offering a Family Movie Day at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. When Brian, a hopelessly uncoordinated young fan magically switches talents with his hero (Kevin Durant, playing himself), he becomes the star of his high school team … while Kevin Durant suddenly can’t make a shot to save his life. But with the playoffs approaching, Brian learns that being a true winner involves working hard at your own game, and he tries to make things right in time to prevent a catastrophic end to his hero’s season.

Join us at 10:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. to watch this recently released basketball movie.  Free admission and refreshments. Call the library for more details at 574-658-4312.
