She was born on Jan. 4, 1930, in Wyandotte, Mich., to Thomas F. and Margaret M. (McIntosh) Cox. She graduated in 1948 from A.E. Smith High School in Riverview, Mich., and was married on July 28, 1950, in Trenton, Mich., to Marion Richard Earles who preceded her on Dec. 24, 2009.
She was a homemaker and moved to the North Webster / Leesburg area in 2007 from Charlevoix, Mich. She was a member of the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Parrish in Syracuse.
She was survived by three daughters: Deborah Kovach, Concord, N.H.; Elizabeth (Chris) Hamblin, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Susan (Steve) Burish, Stevenson Ranch, Calif.; four sons: Marion Richard (Wanda) Earles Jr., Cleveland, Ohio; Jeffrey Earles, Leesburg, Ind.; Thomas (Kathy) Earles, Pittsburgh, Pa.; the Timothy (Shea) Earles, Raleigh, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Patricia Mills, Cass City, Mich.; and Doris Mitchell of Wyandotte, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Michael Earles; and a brother: Thomas Cox Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500 North, North Webster, Ind. Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Parrish, 6941 E. Waco Dr., Syracuse, Ind., with Fr. Richard Hire officiating. Burial will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, Fla.
