“We have now really completed all of what I consider the primary mission of this conservancy district – get that flood control device up to standard, have an emergency plan that’s tied into the city … and the dike, there’s not much there to worry about,” said Bill Pipp, Turkey Creek Dam and Dike Conservancy District board chairman.
