Five Turkey Creek Township residents hoping to serve on the Wawasee School Board gathered for a public forum Tuesday evening, Sept. 28, in the lecture room of Wawasee Middle School. The five applied for a soon to be vacancy on the board when Mary Lou Dixon retires effective Oct. 31.

SYRACUSE — For the third time this season, the Wawasee girls basketball team lost on a shot in the final seconds as West Noble escaped with a 53-51 win over the Lady Warriors. Wawasee’s Aubrey Kuhn also held a fundraiser for the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund for a KYLA project during the game.
