The first of three preselection bid proposal packages came in 32% lower than the engineer’s estimate for the Tippecanoe & Chapman Regional Sewer District project, according to a report by Steve Henschen, Jones Petrie Rafinski engineer.

Progress continues on the preliminary plan work by Jones Petrie Rafinski for the Tippecanoe & Chapman Lakes Regional Sewer District. But the promise of more detailed information will come in January, according to Ken Jones, president of JPR, during the board meeting Monday evening, Dec. 14.

“I don’t think it is right to put (the cost) on individual property owners,” stated Ed Ormsby, board member of the Tippecanoe & Chapman Lakes Regional Sewer District. “The folks who don’t have a lot of money it puts a big burden on them.”
A tax anticipation warrant bond in the amount of $3.68 million for the Tippecanoe & Chapman Lakes Regional Sewer District was awarded to Crossroads Bank Monday evening, Sept. 14. The interest rate is 2%. The bond closing will be Oct. 1 and good through Oct. 1, 2022.

Decisions, perhaps the easiest ones to be made, were handled by the Tippecanoe Chapman Lakes Regional Sewer District Board tonight, Monday, May 11. The board not only elected its officers, but preliminarily decided on a treatment provider, thus filling the remaining vacancy on the board and adopted its first resolution.
