Beckwith, OCRA Announce 11 Communities To Receive $2.6M In Funding

The office of Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs today announced 11 Indiana communities will receive $2,680,000 in Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Grants and Planning Grants through the Community Development Block Grant program.

A swamp chestnut oak tree in Jennings County has been recognized as the largest of the species in the country by the National Champion Tree program, with a height of 95 feet, a circumference of 318 inches, and a canopy spread of 118 feet.
