Read MoreSYRACUSE—The Friends of the Syracuse Public Library will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, to discuss its bag of books sale, slated from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, in the library’s meeting room. The sale will feature numerous antique books, which will be specially priced. Attendees can also purchase Friends of the Library bags to stuff for only $5; the antique books are excluded from the stuff-a-bag deal.
