Donation for Veterans

The Ladies Auxiliary Unit 253 of North Webster American Legion Post 253 recently donated $3,000 to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana. The donation will support the organization’s project of flying World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit the World War II Memorial and other memorials.

Healthier Snacks at NW Day Care

North Webster Day Care Center received a $970 grant from the K21 Health Foundation, Warsaw, to go toward the purchase of a new commercial refrigerator. The new appliance helps the day care provide healthy meals and snacks for the children who attend the nonprofit facility.
