Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 10:40 a.m. Monday, June 12, North CR 650W, north of West CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: adam C. Sauerwine, 37, Rivulet Run, Fort Wayne. Sauerwine’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting and breaking a utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.
Silver Lake
Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, South CR 700W, north of West CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Driver: Johnie W. Shepherd, 64, West CR 1150S, Silver Lake. Shepherd’s vehicle left the roadway due to the vehicle’s rear left control arm bushing breaking. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 3:56 p.m. Monday, June 12, East Center Street, east of South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Driver: James A. Romine, 85, Dausha Court, Warsaw. Romine was attempting to back out of a parking space when he hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 3:51 p.m. Monday, June 12, SR 15, south of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Amelia R. Ohneck, 18, South Packerton Road, Claypool; and Brenden J. Melton, 21, EMS C3 Lane, Warsaw. Ohneck was attempting to merge into a different lane of travel when she hit Melton’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
- 12:41 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2473 Jalynn St., Warsaw. Drivers: Timothy A. Keessee, 17, North Tucker Street, Mentone; and Sydney E. Krider, 20, West Keiser Road, South Whitley. Keessee’s vehicle rear-ended Krider’s. Damage up to $5,000.
- 10:21 a.m. Monday, June 12, East Center Street, east of McKinley Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Dustin B. Bradfield, 34, South High Street, Warsaw; and Brian P. Shepherd, 36, West Jackson Street, Mentone. Bradfield’s vehicle went left of center, resulting in a head-on collision between his and Shepherd’s vehicles. Shepherd complained of neck pain and chest pain. He also sustained a laceration to his lower leg and was taken to a local hospital. A passenger in Shepherd’s vehicle, Angelique D. Holmes, 34, Mentone, complained of lower abdominal pain and was taken to a local hospital. Damage up to $25,000.
