Sharon Kay Perkins
Sharon Kay Perkins, 66, Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, in her residence.
Sharon was born Oct. 30, 1954, in Warsaw, to Sam and Ruby (Ratliff) Meade. She was united in marriage to Davey Perkins July 28, 1972, in Warsaw.
Sharon enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw and a member of Graceful Gospel Church, Bedford.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Davey Perkins; children: Davey (Allitia) Perkins, Creassia (Walter) Blackburn, and Samuel (Amy) Perkins; siblings, Mary (Frank) Hall, Sammy (Bonnie) Meade, and Emma Hurd. In addition, Sharon is survived by grandchildren, Alysha, Alex, Brooklyn, Katie, Jacob, and John Perkins, Chloe and Kaylynn Aikins, Zach Blackburn; and great-grandchild, Makinsley Blackburn.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Paul, Adam, David Lee, Elizabeth Ann Meade, and Evelyn Marsillett.
A visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the church with Pastors Gary Ferguson and Glen Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Center Cemetery, Silver Lake.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
