Light Snow, Cold Temps Return Today In Northern Indiana
WARSAW – After high temps reached into the 60s across parts of Northern Indiana this weekend, cold temps and a chance of snow return on Monday, Dec. 30.
The National Weather Service predicts a chance of snow for much of Monday in Warsaw, but very little accumulation is expected.
Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected north of Kosciusko County by tonight.
Warsaw will see temps fall during the day, opening up the chance of some light snow.
Rain is expected to change over to snow, but less than a half-inch is predicted for Monday.
Winds will be 20-25 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph, the weather service said.
Monday’s low temp will be 29.
There is a strong chance of snow Tuesday, but accumulations are expected to be less than an inch. Breezy conditions are expected to continue on the final day of the year. The low will be around 25.
New Year’s Day will be sunny with a high of 38 and a low of 33.
There is a chance of rain on Thursday and Friday, but it will be warmer. Highs will be around 47 on Thursday and 50 on Friday, the weather service predicts.
