Julie Ann Amsden
Julie Ann Amsden, 73, Bourbon, passed away at 9:30 a.m.Thursday, June 30, 2016, in her home unexpectedly.
Julie was born the daughter of Floyd and Mariagnes (Lemler) Hartzell, May 11, 1943 in Warsaw. She was a graduate of Bremen High School; a faithful member of the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church where her church family was her life. Julie was retired from the former LEAR Corporation.
On July 22, 1961 she married James (Jim) Amsden who survives along with her children: Lisa Schwenke of Dallas, Texas; John (Ruby) Amsden of Palm City, Fla.; Patty Amsden of Memphis, Tenn.; Carl (Jessica) Amsden of Bourbon; Amber Amsden of South Bend; Kaiah Rose Amsden of Tupelo, Miss.; and Nathaniel Amsden of Bourbon. She was further blessed with eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister Norma Schaetzle Barrett of Granger; brothers: Tim Hartzell of Bourbon and William (Bill) Hartzell of Pensacola, Fla. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd, Mariagnes and Melba and her brother Mike.
In honoring her wishes there will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 in the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church.
