Silver Lake Man Arrested On Drug Charges

SILVER LAKE – A Silver Lake man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop.
Jeffery Kent Warner, 45, 507 W. Shutt Ave., Silver Lake, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; possession of paraphernalia and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, both class C misdemeanors; and possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 5 felony.
On Dec. 23, 2025, a Silver Lake Police officer saw a speeding vehicle and pulled it over, identifying Warner as its driver. The officer noticed Warner was exhibiting physical signs of intoxication, and Warner said he used meth two days prior.
According to court documents, Warner failed several field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
Upon searching Warner’s vehicle, officers found a vaping device and drug paraphernalia that tested positive for marijuana and meth.
Warner was previously convicted of dealing meth in Kosciusko County in September 2011.
Warner has already been arrested and released on bond. He has an initial hearing at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in Kosciusko Circuit Court.
