Area Accident Reports

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

9:36 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, West CR 600N, east of North CR 150W, Leesburg. Driver: Ami J. Steg, 42, West Country Drive, Leesburg. Steg’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages estimated up to $5,000.

9:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, West Crystal Lake Road, east of South CR 500W, Mentone. Driver: Pamela A. Hiers, 73, South CR 900W, Mentone. Hiers’ vehicle hit a deer. Damages estimated up to $5,000.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

7:17 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1500 block North SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Eric Love, 46, Rochester. Love’s vehicle hit a deer.
6:59 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, South CR 925E and East SR 14, Akron. Driver: Ryan Mulligan, 41, Rochester. Mulligan’s vehicle hit a deer.
6:36 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, West CR 400S, and South CR 375W, Kewanna. An unknown driver’s vehicle hit a deer, and drove the driver drove home.
3:06 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, North US 31, and East SR 110, Argos. Drivers: John Robertson, 33, North Manchester; and Gustavo Diaz Aguirre, 30, Chicago. Both were involved in a hit-and-run accident.
1:46 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 9600 block South SR 17, Lucerne. An unknown driver was in a traffic collision, and flagged someone down to take them to Kewanna.
