WARSAW – Two people have been arrested for allegedly possessing drugs in a Warsaw hotel.
Chase C. Humble, 34, 2519 E. Center St. Room 227, Warsaw; and Alivia Ann Humble, 23, 3699 N. 175E Lot 57, Warsaw, are each charged with possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor; and possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a syringe, both level 6 felonies.
On Nov. 28, Warsaw Police officers were dispatched to a drug complaint in the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Two individuals had visited Chase at the hotel and believed Alivia was present, possibly in the bathroom. They stated to officers they believed there were bags of drugs on the counter and some of the bags contained a white crystal, along with a pipe.
Officers filed a search warrant for the room, and on Nov. 29, the warrant was executed. Both Chase and Alivia were located in the room.
According to court documents, officers located a clear plastic bag with white residue that later tested positive for methamphetamine. A glass pipe, THC vape, dab pen, and three glass containers were also located. Inside a shoe near the door, officers located a syringe.
Both Chase and Alivia admitted to being drug users, but denied knowledge of the syringe, pipe or methamphetamine.
Both have been arrested and released on their own recognizance. Their initial hearing is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Jan. 8, in Kosciusko Circuit Court.
