WARSAW – Nissan of Warsaw held a ribbon-cutting Friday, Nov. 21, with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Tyler Headdy, general manager, said the dealership on Detroit Street changed ownership July 1, with Coleman Automotive Group purchasing it from TKO Auto Group. Headdy said Coleman Automotive Group saw an opportunity to make the dealership locally owned when it was for sale.
The biggest change that has been made is bringing in more staff to ramp up sales and the amount of service, he said, noting he believed the dealership currently has 30 employees. Nissan of Warsaw sells new Nissans and “any make and model for pre-owned” vehicles. Headdy said the dealership currently has around 200 vehicles on its lot.
Headdy said Nissan of Warsaw likes to be the car dealership people can rely on and wants to make sure people know when they come in, they will get a great deal, have a great person to deal with and hopefully those people continue to do business with Nissan. He said the dealership plans on renovating and making the dealership bigger in the next couple years.
