WARSAW – Two Warsaw men were arrested after officers responded to an incident at a residence.

Kyle Jay Shepherd, 32, 3451 E. Pleasant Grove Drive, Warsaw, is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.
On Nov. 1, officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Claypool Police Department responded to a battery at a residence. They were advised Templeton had left the area in a vehicle.
According to court documents, a Claypool officer activated the emergency lights on his police vehicle upon locating the suspect vehicle. The vehicle slowed and the front passenger’s door opened and then closed. Its driver continued, then stopped, with a woman exiting the vehicle.
The vehicle continued at approximately 20 mph and pulled into a residence, with Templeton being identified as the vehicle’s driver.
Templeton allegedly told police he was at the residence to get the woman to come with him, but that Shepherd wanted the woman to stay. Templeton indicated Shepherd got in his face and a brief physical altercation occurred.
The woman told police Templeton tried to help her and Shepherd wanted her to stay.
Shepherd said Templeton showed up at the residence and a physical fight occurred in the driveway. When Shepherd told Templeton to leave, he and Templeton allegedly wrestled in the residence’s yard. Templeton and the woman eventually entered Templeton’s vehicle and left the area.
Both Templeton and Shepherd have already been arrested and released on bond.
