Warsaw Man Arrested For Allegedly Cutting Ankle Bracelet

WARSAW – A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly cutting his ankle bracelet while he was being monitored by Kosciusko County Community Corrections.
Ryan Michael McLaughlin, 28, Warsaw, is charged with escape, a level 6 felony.
On March 18, 2024, McLaughlin was found guilty of narcotic drug possession and given the opportunity to participate in Kosciusko County Community Corrections monitoring for the balance of his sentence.
According to court documents, on March 22, 2024, McLaughlin signed KCCC rules. However, that same day, McLaughlin tested positive for fentanyl.
On April 2, 2024, a KCCC officer received an alert that McLaughlin’s ankle strap had been cut. Officers located the cut bracelet at McLaughlin’s registered address but could not find McLaughlin.
McLaughlin was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 15, 2025.
