Joyce Elaine (Starrett) Pearson, 85, Rochester, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at Hickory Creek of Rochester.

She was born on July 7, 1940, in Branch County, Mich. Joyce married James E. Bieghler on Dec. 15, 1997, in Rochester. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2010. On Dec. 1, 2017, in Rochester, she married Dale Pearson, and he survives.

Survivors include her husband: Dale Pearson, Rochester; children: Rex Growcock, Wolcottville; and Roger (Wendy) Growcock, Locust, N.C.; two grandchildren; and stepchildren: Belinda Pearson, Camden; Patricia (Dan) Richardson, Kentucky; Crystal (Ronnie) Jorden, Pennsylvania; and Melisa (Vern) Ballard, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Robert Starrett.
