Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 5:37 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, SR 15, north of US 30, Warsaw. Driver: Heather A. Klages, 45, South Valentine Road, Claypool. Klages’ vehicle hit a deer. Damages are estimated up to $10,000.

• 5:07 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, South High Street, at SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Alexa Derry, 30, South Country Club Road, Warsaw; and Jeremy Gawthrop, 43, Point West Drive #2A, Fort Wayne. Derry was attempting to turn left onto SR 15 when she hit Gawthrop’s vehicle. Gawthrop said he was traveling east on SR 15 when Derry’s vehicle turned in front of him. Damages are estimated up to $25,000.

• 8:57 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1500 Provident Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Mary Gunsolley, 81, Robson Road, Winona Lake; and Jada Zehner, 20, Iwo Street, Auburn. Gunsolley was backing her vehicle when she hit Zehner’s vehicle. Damages are estimated up to $5,000.

• 4:39 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, East Market Street, at South High Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Crystal Watters, 36, School Street, Leesburg; and Breelyn Price, 27, North Tenth Street, Pierceton. Watters’ vehicle rear-ended Price’s. Damages are estimated up to $10,000.

• 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, US 30, near Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Jose C. Rosales Serratos, 58, East CR 200n Lot 38, Warsaw; and Sheena S. Whetstone, 39, Crestlane Drive, Warsaw. Rosales Serratos’ vehicle rear-ended Whetstone’s. A passenger in Whetstone’s vehicle, Zerahiah Whetstone, 14, complained of back pain, but declined treatment at the scene. Damages are estimated up to $2,500.

• 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, East Center Street, east of North Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley G. King, 38, West CR 800N, Huntington; and Jesus Velazquez, 26, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. King’s vehicle rear-ended Velazquez’s. Damages are estimated up to $25,000.

• 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, US 30, west of East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver: Ceara R. Rojas, 30, North Jefferson Street, Hebron. Rojas’ vehicle hit a deer. Damages are estimated up to $10,000.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 2:57 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, US 33 and CR 40, Goshen. Drivers: Wilna Vilneus, 33, Goshen; Brian Newlin, 52, Syracuse; and Justin Halferty, 45, Syracuse. Vilneus’ vehicle struck the back of Newlin’s vehicle which was pushed into Halferty’s vehicle. Vilneus complained of all over body pain and was taken to Goshen General Hospital for treatment.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 7:54 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, South US 31 and South SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Dawn Poe, 48, Akron. Poe’s vehicle hit a deer.

Marshall County

Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, US 6 and Miami Trail, Bremen. Drivers: Brent J. Lineberry, 69, Bremen; and Julie M. Fino, 56, Florida. A two-vehicle accident occurred at the US 6 and Miami Trail intersection. Lineberry was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
