Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 9:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, South CR 300E, north of East SR 14, Silver Lake. Driver: Chad Miller, 47, East State Road 14, Silver Lake. Miller’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages estimated up to $5,000.

• 10:08 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, East US 30, at North CR 325E, Warsaw. Drivers: Bixler W. Bixler, 69, East CR 200N, Pierceton; and Amanda Dunn, 38, North Holly Street, Medford, Ore. Bixler’s vehicle hit Dunn’s vehicle when he attempted to cross US 30 on North CR 325E. Bixler claimed that he could not see her vehicle due to the sun. Bixler had two passengers, both children, in his vehicle. The children were checked by medics and released to family. Dunn complained of pain on her entire left side and was checked by medics. Damages estimated up to $25,000.

• 7:32 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, US 30, at SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Haiden T. Lockwood, 21, County Road 23, Waterloo. Lockwood’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages estimated up to $10,000.

• 2:08 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, East CR 500N, at North CR 900E, North Webster. Driver: Ethan M. Bailey, 25, Maidstone Court, Fort Wayne. Bailey’s vehicle went off the road, striking a utility pole and causing damage to both the pole and a private yard. Damages estimated up to $25,000.

• 2:01 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, West CR 1350N, at North CR 500W, Nappanee. Drivers: Danielle M. Stickel, 37, Goshen; and Kiel Martin, 27, West Market Street, Nappanee. Stickel’s vehicle hit Martin’s vehicle while Martin was stopped, attempting to turn. Damages estimated up to $5,000.

• 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, US 30, east of South CR 500W, Warsaw. Driver: Daniel Tikbesa, 59, Colonial Woods Drive, Saint Louis, Mo. Tikbesa’s vehicle hit a deer. Damages estimated up to $5,000.

• 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1400 W. 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Elizabeth M. Yarian, 22, West Prairie Street, Leesburg. Yarian’s vehicle struck another vehicle as she was parking. Damages estimated up to $5,000.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, South CR 1000W and West CR 250S, Kewanna. Driver: Dawn Edwards, 64, Star City. Edwards’ vehicle hit an animal.

• 5:31 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2294 N. 400W, Rochester. Unknown driver. Driver hit a deer.

• 8:58 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, South US 31 and South SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Min Thang, 26, Indianapolis. Thang’s vehicle hit a deer.

• 8:01 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, South US 31 and Sweetgum Road, Rochester. Driver: Blake Dellinger, 38, Tipton. Dellinger’s vehicle hit a deer.
