WARSAW – November is going to be another excellent month at Warsaw Community Public Library. From craft nights to musical performances, here’s a look at what’s coming up.
Library Lego (10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 1): Bring your imagination and join us for a morning of Lego fun. Come and go as you please and be sure children younger than 5 are supervised.
Friends of the Library (1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3): Learn more about the Friends of the Library and how the group supports the library through fundraising and community involvement.
Basic Smartphone Photography (6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3): Photography instructor Wayne Pope will share tips for improving smartphone photos, from steadying your camera to editing and organizing images. Registration is required.
Euchre (2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 4): Join other card players for a friendly afternoon of euchre and conversation.
Adult Make & Mingle: Paintbrush Santa (6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4): Turn an ordinary paintbrush into a festive Santa decoration during this creative evening. All materials are provided. Registration is required.
Craft Club (4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6): Bring your latest project and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of crafting, conversation and tea.
Greyt Readers (10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 8): Spend time with the gentle greyhounds of Greyt Readers in Youth Services.
Classic Arts Program (6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10): Enjoy an evening of music performed by the Vocal Vision Youth Choir and Vocal Vibes Mixed Jazz Ensemble, both part of the Community Arts Program.
Music Bingo for Adults (4:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13): Play bingo with a musical twist using song titles from different eras.
Book sale (10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14): Find great deals on books of every genre at the Friends of the Library’s book sale.
Tour of the Old Jail Museum in Warsaw (11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15): Take a guided tour of the Old Jail Museum with the Kosciusko County Historical Society. Explore the former cells and local artifacts while learning about the building’s history. Registration is required.
Toddler Story Times are at 10:15 a.m. Wednesdays, and Preschool Story Times are at 10:15 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
Warsaw Community Public Library will be closed Tuesday, Nov 11, for Veterans Day.
