News Release
CLAYPOOL — Lower temperatures and windy conditions could not keep the community from enjoying the Echoes of the Past Fall Festival in Claypool from Oct. 10-11.
Visitors enjoyed a hayride through the haunted woods, staffed by Warsaw FFA and Tippecanoe Valley’s National Honor Society. Patrons also visited the alpacas, brought in by Shelhart Farms. Kids’ activities included the tractor driving experience, barrel train ride, corn pit, rolling tubes and gravity wagon basketball. Pumpkins were free to visitors to take home, or they could choose to decorate them. Wheels on Fire Cancer Crusaders provided food and hot chocolate to take off the chill.
The Echoes of the Past will begin their toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots on Nov. 1, with the locations to be announced.
The Cookies with Santa event is also happening again this year on Dec. 13.
