SYRACUSE — Wawasee Community Schools is hosting a free, educational Medicare workshop at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Wawasee Community School Professional Learning Center, Central office, 801 S Sycamore St., Syracuse, in partnership with Everence.
When approaching 65 years of age and-or nearing retirement, many people may have questions on health insurance options including Medicare. This workshop is designed to address those questions and provide information to help you feel comfortable and confident about the transition to Medicare.
In this workshop, an Everence Financial Representative, Maria Wogomon, CSA, specializing in Medicare, will help bring clarity to:
- The parts of Medicare.
- What are the options for those who continue to work?
- Enrollment details and deadlines.
- Social Security — when to start?
- Prescription drug coverage.
- Plans that supplement Medicare.
Please register by contacting Tammy Hutchinson at [email protected].
This is a public event, so feel free to invite friends and family members who are also thinking about Medicare.
