WABASH — On Sunday afternoon, Oct. 5, more than 50 youths and adults formed a “life chain” at Wabash Alliance Church to stand for the right to life and against abortion.
The North Manchester Trail Life Troop 1854 with about 15 boys and leaders came and led a moment of prayer. Many drivers honked and waved while driving by to show their support.
Different signs were provided by Northeast Indiana Right to Life reading: “Pray to End Abortion”; “Jesus Forgives and Heals”; “Adoption the Loving Option”; “Life, the First Inalienable Right”; “Abortion Kills Children”; “Abortion Hurts Women”; and “Jesus Hears, Heals & Forgives.”
Every year since 1987, “life chains” have formed in cities and towns across America to make a public, prayerful, peaceful stand for the right to life, according to a news release.

Participants in the “life chain” held up signs provided by Northeast Indiana Right to Life.
