WARSAW — Preschoolers at Lakeland Christian Academy, Warsaw, spent the morning with Morris Folk, board member of the Echoes of the Past, talking about farming for their Farmer Day event Monday, Sept. 29.
Morris brought his 1956 Farmall and spoke to the attentive ears of the kids about how his tractor was used in the past and how it is still being used. A plow was attached to the tractor and kids were fascinated about how it plowed through the dirt.
Morris spoke to the students about where crop come from and how they get to the store for us to buy. Students then took turns sitting on the seat and “driving” the tractor. It was a fun day had by all.
