10 Indiana Schools Made Yearly Best ‘Colleges Ranking’

INDIANA — Ten Indiana schools have made the U.S. News and World Report’s yearly Best Colleges ranking. The schools that made the cut were chosen for outstanding qualities in 17 different categories, including peer assessment, first-year retention and graduation rates.
The highest-ranked Hoosier school was No. 20’s Notre Dame Univsersity, while the lowest was Indiana State University, tied at No. 363. The other Indiana schools on the list, from highest to lowest, were as follows:
46. Purdue University West Lafayette — tied.
73. Indiana University Bloomington — tied.
192. Indiana University Indianapolis — tied.
198. Valparaiso University — tied.
213. Ball State University — tied.
257. Marian University — tied.
257. Oakland City University — tied.
301. University of Indianapolis — tied.
363. Indiana State University — tied.
