GOSHEN — The Michiana Mennonite Relief Sale will return Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26–27 at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds, raising funds for the Mennonite Central Committee’s international relief efforts.
The two-day event features food vendors, live entertainment, auctions, children’s activities and tournaments.
A highlight of the weekend is the live quilt auction, with reserved seating available starting Friday evening and bidding beginning Saturday morning. A silent auction will also run both in person and online, closing at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

On Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27, at Heritage Park, bands will compete in a fundraising Battle of the Bands.
Friday’s schedule includes a crafter’s marketplace, baked goods, plants, Ten Thousand Villages items and live music at Heritage Park, where bands will compete in a fundraising Battle of the Bands.
Children’s activities, running 5:30–8 p.m., will offer carnival games, crafts and volunteer opportunities while teaching about the impact of relief donations.
The Run for Relief 5K begins Saturday morning, with registration opening at 6:45 a.m. and the race starting at 9 a.m. near the grandstand. Awards will be given to top finishers by age group. A pancake and sausage breakfast also opens at 7 a.m.
Throughout Saturday, the fairgrounds will host additional quilt auction sessions, children’s activities, the continuation of the pickleball tournament and live performances. Vendors will remain open until noon or while supplies last.
Proceeds from the sale support MCC projects worldwide, providing food, clean water, education and humanitarian aid. More details and registration information are available at mennonitesale.org.
