SYRACUSE — The 2025 Wawasee homecoming parade rolled toward the high school Friday, Sept. 19, with great weather. The marching band, cheerleaders, youth football and other high school clubs all took part in the parade.

The parade cruised west on Chicago Street before reaching its destination at Wawasee High School. Homecoming king and queen candidates were all escorted to the school.

Senior Sophia Smith took home the homecoming queen title. The homecoming king is Andrew Yoder.

Wawasee would fall to Plymouth 21-20 in the homecoming football game.
